March signals finale in trio of partnered events with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport RANT events ltd, sister company to Acumin Consulting is hosting the event in London on the 28th.
The events have brought together an average room size of 100 senior infosec professionals including CISO’s to discuss government’s responsibility in reducing cyber risk across the private sector.
Government’s role in assessing the cyber security risk on organisations will only become more important if the trend in large scale criminal cyber activity continues.
Acumin have supported the events through sponsorship and through generating reports on the outcomes of the sessions that will be used to support central government public cyber security policy. The partnership with RANT events signifies a win in becoming strategically aligned with central government to support information sharing between the public and private sectors.
The final event will be focussed on the topic “What drives business’ investment decisions around cyber security, and what is the role of Government in both driving action and reducing barriers?”
RANT are bringing together speakers including Dr Mike Lloyd (CTO, RedSeal Networks), Charlie Timblin (Senior Director, Europe and APAC Cyber and Technology Risk, Royal Bank of Canada), Simon Gilbert (Managing Director, Elmore Insurance Brokers) and a representative from DCMS.
