Engineering Leader – Strategy & Architecture

Are you passionate about leading diverse teams and driving innovation in engineering? We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead a high-performing engineering team and help shape the future of financial services technology.

As part of our Strategy & Architecture team, you will play a key role in aligning technical solutions with business objectives. You’ll drive digital transformation initiatives, promote a DevSecOps mindset, and ensure that technology and tooling choices meet both current and future needs. Your work will directly influence the organization’s engineering culture, strategy, and investment in AI and emerging technologies.

In this role, you will create policies, standards, and metrics to guide engineering teams, fostering collaboration and delivering secure, scalable, and innovative solutions. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners across multiple locations, requiring occasional international travel to build strong relationships.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of engineering excellence. Your leadership will ensure successful project delivery, helping our teams create real business impact.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven Leadership in Digital Transformation: A strong track record of successfully leading and transforming engineering teams.
• Agile Methodologies: Expertise in agile practices such as scrum and kanban at an enterprise level.
• DevSecOps: Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, ensuring security is embedded in development pipelines.
• Business Change Ownership: A skilled individual who thrives on taking ownership of significant business change initiatives.
• Global Team Management: Experience leading in-house and partner teams across different locations, including onshore and offshore development.
• Cloud Native Solutions: Practical experience in developing cloud-native solutions and architectures.
• CI/CD Automation: Familiarity with delivery automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Industry Best Practices: Ability to drive the adoption of industry best practices horizontally across a matrixed organization.
• Financial Services Knowledge: Understanding of the financial services sector, its regulations, processes, and broader ecosystem.
• Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
