Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid (Kilkenny, Ireland) | €62,500

We’re seeking a Software Engineering & Development Officer to join an Identity and Access Management (IAM) engineering team and support the development of secure, scalable technology in a global environment.

This is a hybrid role based in Kilkenny, offering a competitive salary of €62,500, excellent development opportunities, and the chance to work within a collaborative, high-performing team.

The Role
You’ll contribute to designing, developing, and supporting systems that protect digital identities and access. You’ll work across the full software development lifecycle and engage with technical and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop IAM solutions across the full software lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing).
• Write clean, maintainable code using programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Create and run unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews to maintain high development standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and reduce technical risk.
• Apply SQL and Database Administration expertise in system maintenance and enhancements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering software solutions in enterprise-scale environments.
• Prior experience working in or alongside Cybersecurity teams.
• Strong understanding of IAM systems and secure software development.
• Proficient in SQL and experience in Database Administration.
• Knowledge of large-scale systems architecture and deployment.
