Cyber Security Team Lead

Salary: Up to £70,000 + bonus

Location: Leeds (hybrid)

An award winning global law firm are looking for a Cyber Security Team leader to lead their team of Cyber analysts and provide technical leadership across the company. This individual play a pivotal part in ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of critical data while serving as a bridge between cyber security and the IT Department. They will be the SME for the companies Cloud Security environment also. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Cyber Security Team, ensuring resource optimization and proactive quality reviews.
• Act as the deputy for the Cyber Security Manager as needed.
• Drive Security cloud migration.
• Conduct 1:1 performance meetings with team members.
• Proactively manage complaints and escalations, resolving issues pre-emptively.
• Develop, manage, and maintain IT service security, collaborating with external parties.
• Create and update security support documentation to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with various IT departments to ensure comprehensive security measures.
• Demonstrate adept leadership and drive team development.
• Serve as an escalation point for security incidents, both during and outside regular hours.
• Lead the Cyber Security Incident process and Response Team, fostering incident readiness.
• Oversee post-incident forensic investigations and reporting, engaging specialists if necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving security threats, news, principles, and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in planning and implementing Azure security technologies.
• Strong grasp of infrastructure and application technologies, including Server 2012+, ESX/VMware, and more.
• Excellent understanding of security technologies, such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Effective communicator and collaborator, working well across various levels.
• Inclusive and supportive team player aligned with service excellence ideals.
