Area Sales Lead

Salary: Up to £190,000 (OTE) + Benefits

Location: UK (Remote)


A US Headquartered Cyber Security organisation that operate within the Payments Fraud, Risk and Intelligence space are looking to appoint an Area Sales Lead to drive new business activity within the UK&I. This organisation offer a SaaS based Payments Fraud, Risk and Intelligence solution.

This organisation are a leading technology company in the fight against payments fraud. They are powered by cutting edge science and a suite of market leading anti-fraud products.

The Area Sales Lead – UK&I will be an ambitious sales hunter with a passion for securing net new logo deals within tier 1 banking environments. The Sales Executive will be selling at the Enterprise level and must understand complex solution sales cycles.

The Area Sales Lead will work in close collaboration with the Global Head of Sales, marketing, sales engineering, customer success, product and other business units to secure deals with an average deal value of $1m+ with an average sales cycle of 9 – 12 months.


  • Investigate, generate and convert high-value strategic Enterprise level new logos
  • Responsible for new logos within tier 1 banking environments
  • Responsibility to drive solution selling sales processes
  • Responsibility over the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing
  • Work closely with other business units, taking ownership of revenue growth and customer acquisition
  • Leverage in-depth industry and product knowledge to manage complex sales cycles
  • Act as a brand ambassador and further solidify market positioning as a leader within the Payments Fraud, Risk and Intelligence space
  • To function as part of a highly collaborative distributed Sales function
  • Be a champion for Sales Hygiene
  • Create and execute a regional GTM sales strategy
  • Consistently meet or exceed goals and financial performance targets



  • A consultative sales approach, with a proven ability to manage complex sales cycles from start to finish
  • Proven track record of winning new logos within banking
  • Proven experience following a Sales Methodology
  • Proven Experience within the Cyber Security OR Payments Solution space
  • Proven track record of direct selling
  • Capable of developing and maximising new opportunities within the target customer base
  • A skilled negotiator, able to build trust and understanding with the clients
  • Must be a closer, hungry to win and focused on completing new deals
  • Ability to travel within the region when required
