Regional Sales Director

Salary: Up to £210,000 OTE

Location: UK / Germany

 

A Canada headquartered B2B start-up who are focused on Cybersecurity Posture Management are looking to on-board a visionary Sales Director to cover the UK and select countries in Europe. They are building a Disruptive SaaS product in the Cybersecurity space that will benchmark Cybersecurity posture and automate Cybersecurity Management. As the Regional Sales Director, you will be the senior-most regional leader representing the brand and leading the go-to market efforts in the region.

This Sales Director will be operating in a “Player-Coach” role that will have direct sales responsibilities to drive business growth, and at the same time, will have expanded responsibilities to build a high-performing sales team in the region. This individual will work very closely with the founding group.

The Sales Director will have experience selling SaaS B2B Cybersecurity products to large enterprises, have an entrepreneurial mind set, and will be ambitious to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an appropriate sales strategy to meet agreed new business revenue and sales targets for the Cybersecurity product and consulting revenue
  • Identify, grow and nurture major sales opportunities in the target industries.
  • Responsible to win Net New Logos in the select region
  • Demonstrate sales creativity and a consultative approach to navigate complex sales cycles with organisations in target industries
  • Work collaboratively with Global leadership to align sales targets and revenues with overall growth targets
  • Develop, nurture and manage key client relationships
  • Build, manage and lead a sales team to support our growing consultancy business
  • Take on P&L responsibility for the region
  • Work with Inside Sales, Business Development team and Marketing to maximize territory penetration
  • Represent the organisation in industry leading Cybersecurity forums like RSA Conference etc
  • Anchor sessions with leading analysts and advisors on Cybersecurity thought leadership

Requirements

  • Proven track record of selling a SaaS based Cyber Security offerings to large enterprises
  • Ability to build a pipeline when little may exist
  • Self-motivated, high energy, competitive and entrepreneurial
  • Experience with direct touch sales
  • Must be willing to travel extensively (when travel restrictions due to COVID-19 is relaxed and conditions are favourable)
  • Ability to motivate, mobilize and scale up the team. Challenger mind-set
  • Abreast with market trends in the Cybersecurity space and events in the allocated territory
