Head of MSP Sales - Cyber security – UK based – Competitive salary

 

A leading provider of anti-virus and internet security solutions. With over 110 Million users worldwide, businesses and consumers across 200 countries, who are looking for a Head of MSP Sales to join their team based in the UK.

 

 Responsibilities and Duties

  • Communicate, drive and help to execute the MSP strategy via new and existing channel partners
  • Grow our base of revenue generating partners via a variety of tactical executions
  • Build collaborative relationships with our existing partners, often at a senior level
  • Generate revenue and business development opportunities through your own leads and contacts
  • Ensure partners are profiled to give them an appropriate level of service and support
  • Directly manage a small MSP sales team, and indirectly manage a team of Channel Sales Managers, to ensure that the MSP strategy and tactics are executed well
  • Report as required on a variety of metrics, and use this data and insight to shape future business decisions
  • Be prepared to be customer facing 25-50% of the time

 

Skills & experience

  • Experienced sales professional with a strong track record of working with managed security services
  • Previous experience of working in business development and account management within any of the following industries: IT Software, Cyber Security, Managed Services
  • Experience of using salesforce.com or similar CRM system
  • Ability to analyse and outline sales performance vs sales metrics
  • Able to work with sales leadership to create new metrics
  • Clear communicator with the ability to manage a high number and varied customers
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Able to think strategically whilst keeping an eye on the operational detail
  • Has indirect leadership responsibility within wider Channel Sales team
