Martin Jerrold has over 20 years’ experience in the staffing services, media, and training sectors.
As Managing Director of the group, Martin is accountable for growth across all markets. He is responsible for the current and future commercial strategy of the business and for building and strengthening key partnerships.
Helen is a finance professional with over 15 years of experience.
Prior to joining the Red Snapper Group Helen worked in Professional Practice at Ernst & Young and BDO Stoy Hayward.
Helen has been the Finance Director at the Red Snapper Group since 2008 and has managed the company’s rapid financial growth across this time. Helen’s role encompasses all finance and compliance matters within the business. She also takes an active role in the management of key accounts as well as financial input to bid work.
As Operations Director, Chris is the architect of Acumin’s current and long-term strategy. He has developed a competitive framework for our consultants to operate within, and holds overall responsibility for the delivery of our services, and corporate operations.
A proactive speaker on career development and market entry in the sector, Chris has worked with universities and industry bodies to promote cyber security and information risk management as a “profession”. As such, he has been actively working with (ISC)2, ISSA, and CREST to deliver accreditations that will support the future skills needs of our industry.
Chris comes from a marketing and PR background, and moved into IT recruitment in 1996. Specialising in risk management recruitment since 1998, he has been instrumental in developing closer relationships between recruiters and risk management consultancies, and guided investment into several BC and IS start-ups in the late 90’s.
Business Development Director
Simon has many years experience in the field of cyber security and as such has become a well-known and recognisable figure in the industry. His experience spans all sectors across EMEA, North America, and APAC.
He has spearheaded Acumin into new markets and developed board-level relationships with some of the world’s largest enterprises. Similarly, Simon has advised on and facilitated the European market entry of a number of US-based high-growth start-ups. Acumin is now recognised as the leading provider of cyber security specialists in Europe, and his vision is to continue to develop the brand on a global basis.
Prior to founding Acumin, Simon ran a team of specialist consultants for the largest IT staffing agency in the UK. Outside of work his interests lie in a variety of activities such as sailing, scuba diving, and motor racing.

Since joining Acumin in 2002, Scott has become synonymous within the industry for recruiting end user cyber security and risk management professionals.
Having started his career in generalist IT recruitment in his native Australia, Scott has now accumulated over a decade of cyber security expertise. In that time he has helped to shape the security culture of a number of the UK’s leading companies, supporting the development and restructuring of both mature and greenfield security functions. As a strategic recruitment partner, Scott provides a dedicated end-to-end service, and his in-depth knowledge of functions, role profiles, and regulatory requirements is without exception.
In his own time, Scott is an avid cyclist, wine enthusiast, and part-time amateur golfer.
