Simon Hember - Founder and Managing Director, Sales

Simon Hember has many years experience in the field of information risk management resourcing and is extremely well known and recognised in the industry. His experience spans all industry sectors across EMEA the US and APAC. Simon has spearheaded Acumin into new markets and developed board level relationships with some of the world's largest enterprises.
Acumin is now recognised as the leading provider of Information Risk Management specialists in Europe and his vision is to continue to develop the brand on a global basis.

Prior to founding Acumin, Simon ran a team of specialist consultants for the largest IT staffing agency in the UK. Outside of work his interests lie in a whole range of activities from Sailing and Scuba Diving to Motor Racing.

Chris Batten - Founder and Managing Director, Operations

As Managing Director, Operations, Chris is the architect of Acumin's current and long-term strategy, representing Acumin in relations with its customers, staff and the business community.

Chris holds overall responsibility for the delivery of Acumin's services, marketing strategy and corporate operations, leading a team of experienced delivery staff through innovative management techniques. He is also responsible for Acumin's new Go-To-Market programme, helping businesses in the Information Risk Management space to launch in new markets and expand in existing regions.

Chris comes from a marketing and PR background and moved into IT recruitment in 1996. Specialising in risk management recruitment since 1998, he has been instrumental in developing closer relationships between recruiters and risk management consultancies and guided investment into several BC and IS start-ups in the late 90's.
