BSI recognition for information security management firm Verizon

Verizon Business Security Solutions has been recognised by leading international standards, testing, registration and certification organisation BSI Management Systems as a leading provider of information security management.
The firm has been inducted to BSI's Associate Consultant Program (ACP), recognition that is has passed a "rigorous review of its comprehensive security portfolio and professional security capabilities".
For a firm to be accepted into the program, it must demonstrate a proven history of providing customers with strong value and performance.
Kerry Bailey, vice-president of Verizon, said the firm "had heard time and again" from global security executives that the ISO Information Security Standard was "the pre-eminent standard against which they measure their security programs".
She added: "As such, Verizon Business is pleased to further embrace this critical global standard.
"The synergy between our holistic approach to security and the ISO Information Security Standard makes us a natural fit to join the BSI Associated Consultant Program."
