Technical Security Consultant

  Our client, a Global Consultancy, are looking for two people with broad Technical Security skills to work on engagements for their clients in the financial sector.

Role
The Technical Security Consultants will be typically working on 3-6 month engagements where security will be an aspect of the project. The Technical Security Consultants will be tasked with turning business requirements into technical specifications although being a consultancy, rather than an SI, the actual building of the systems is outsourced to third party providers.

Team
The team is small but growing and there is throughout the company great emphasis placed on team working and it being a good place to work. Team members are outgoing, bright and ambitious and new members of the team would be expected to key in with that.

The Individual
You will have a broad technical skill-set in security and be hungry for learning new things. The projects are varied and you are likely to be involved in other technical areas of IT outside of security, although Security will remain your core function. Applicants must be aware of this and willing to broaden their skill-set outside of Security. The only other mandatory requirement is experience in the financial services sector.

Remuneration
The Technical Security Consultants will earn a base salary of around £50,000 with a car aloowance, flexible benefits scheme and bonus.
