Senior Information Risk & Security Manager

A leading global firm are seeking a senior Information Risk and Security manager to design, lead and manage their information security risk, assurance and compliance function. This is a very interesting role working on a large change and integration programme within the information risk and security programme.

You will be responsible for defining and managing the overall Information risk, security and assurance / governance programme’s, ensuring compliance with FSA guidelines, PCI DSS, external and internal audit requirements, internal group security policy and standards, technical security frameworks and general technical security strategy, and relevant industry related regulations. You will help to define the group IT risk policy and assurance strategy, and manage the governance programme to improve the IT functions overall IT compliance standpoint.

This will also involve defining and managing the overall IT risk and IT compliance activities for the group. You should have a strong background implementing information risk, assurance and information security strategy programmes, within large corporate environments, ideally coming from a Big 4 or FTSE 100 environment. A strong knowledge of formal methodologies such as ISO27001 and COBIT would be ideal, along with a background delivering FSA related compliance or PCI programmes.
