Information Security Risk Analyst - IT Controls / Cobit

Leading global organisation are seeking an experienced information risk / security analyst, with a strong IT controls background to review and implement improvements to their IT risk, IT controls and information security frameworks.

You will be responsible for all aspects of information security risk management and IT controls across the IS environment, whilst also being the main point of contact for all internal IT controls and assurance activities, responsible for implementing remediation solutions and recommendations. This is a broad role, where you will be responsible for reporting to senior management and stakeholders on the status of IT risk and compliance issues across the information security arena, assessing and providing IT controls advice to projects and operational environments, and ensuring appropriate governance tools and processes are in place. A strong knowledge of Cobit and experience of implementing this into a corporate environment would be highly desirable.

Ideally, you will have a strong IT audit background, and an in-depth IT controls background, ideally with CoBIT or other IT risk management defined control frameworks. This is a challenging and broad information security and IT controls role.
