Information Security Manager - Stratford upon Avon

 Our client, one of the largest insurance companies in the UK, is looking for an Information Security Manager to work in their Group Compliance division.

The role
They are looking for an Information Security Manager to develop information security policy, standards and guidelines as well as operating as a focus for IS security expertise across the organisation. The Information Security Manager will be a point of contact, in terms of IS, between the business functions and 3rd party suppliers and will be involved in negotiations with all centred around what is acceptable vs what is pragmatic. As an organisation they have made a good start in implementing IS policies however they are looking for someone to take this forward and drive it.

The individual
You will be a dynamic individual with a proven Information Security background who has the gravitas to interact with and influence decision makers across the company as well as 3rd party suppliers. You will have proven experience of implementing policies and procedures and experience of negotiating. Experience in financial services is not essential.

Remuneration
The Basic salary for this role is up to £52,000 depending on experience and there is a 10-15% bonus, as well as healthcare, pension and 28 days holiday allowance.
