IT Risk, Compliance & IT Controls Manager

Leading blue-chip organisation are looking for an information risk manager, with a strong knowledge of IT Controls, Information assurance and information risk management / compliance strategy skills, to lead the IT risk function for this team, which work’s closely with the group information security function

Leading the IT risk team, you will implement the overall IT risk strategy for the group, including overall IT compliance and IT controls, and ensuring overall IT governance and independent assurance over the status of information security and IT controls across the groups business functions. You will engage with senior business and IS / IT management to scope and implement a new IT control framework as well as embedding this within the business units. This will also involve embedding an information security compliance framework as well as providing information security advice on large change programmes.

You should have strong communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills, with experience operating in an internal assurance, IT Risk or IT Controls role, with some experience in one of the following area's - BS7799 / ISO27001; COBIT, COSO or other IT Controls frameworks; large IS change programmes; IS infrastructure, networks, data centre’s etc. You must also have implemented strong IT controls and information risk assurance programmes within another blue-chip environment.
