CLAS Consultant - home based

Our client is a major IT consultancy who are looking to expand their Information Security offering with the help of a CLAS Consultant.

They are looking for a CLAS consultant with proven experience in the providing guidance to projects involved in the implementation of HMG/Government polices, including the production of Accreditation Document Set’s and producing risk assessments, current CLAS status, Thorough understanding of Government security, drivers, issues that can be encountered with Outsource Providers and the ability to review security policies and security operating procedures and provide constructive improvements in line with HMG and Government standards. In addition you will have detailed knowledge of Government Policy (e.g. IS1,2 etc..), MPS, preferable JSP440. You will be security cleared to a minimum of SC level.

The role is highly client facing and you'll engage at a senior level throughout their client base. You will be highly motivated and energetic, with excellent report writing and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate ideas and issues in a constructive way.
